The underdog, #13 Fasman Yeshivah was looking pretty good after an unbelievable first quarter. With lights out three point shooting, Fasman seemed to be controlling the #4 seeded Northshore. As the Second quarter rolled in, Northshore began playing the way a number 4 seed should. They took a dominating 34-18 lead. Northshore’s Benji Hakakian and Michael Zborowski helped carry the team to this much needed lead. However, with seconds to go, Fasman’s starting shooting guard Betzalel Rosenwasser made a half-court shot.

As the third quarter began, it seemed that Fasman had hope at making a quick comeback. However, Northshore had other plans. They got off to a quick 12-0 run with Benji Hakakian dominating. Northshore stretched their lead to 53-26. The fourth quarter was much of the same story; Northshore continued to extend their lead leaving it almost impossible for Fasman to win. Northshore won with a final score of 66-31.
