MDY Warriors to play for the Championship, defeat Posnack RAMS 76-54!
- Updated: November 3, 2018

The final match-up of the semi-finals saw the super fast MDY Warriors taking on the red hot Posnack Rams. Both teams were hungry to reach the championship. The game opened with both teams running the floor and keeping the score very close. The first quarter ended with the MDY Warriors in the lead, the score 16-12.
MDY showed why they were the number one seed and they started the second quarter on fire and very fast. The Warriors Mizrachi made a couple of baskets and Posnack turned the ball over on two consecutive MDY steals by Braca, who then followed up the steal with a basket at the other end. Posnack added a few baskets but they rarely were able to keep the ball in their possession. The Warriors continued to steal the ball on most of the Posnack possessions. The half ended with Warriors holding a comfortable lead, 36-19.
The third quarter continued much the same way as the second quarter with the MDY Warriors playing very tough defense and causing the Posnack Rams to turn the ball over and then following steals with fast break buckets. Posnack was able to hit some shots, but it seemed like every Rams bucket was followed by a quick Warrior basket. The score at the end of the third quarter was 53-36, with Magen David still holding on to a big lead.
Magen David showed no signs of slowing down in the fourth quarter. Posnack had spurts of showing some life with making a few steals and hitting some 3-point shots, but in the end the MDY Warriors were too much for the Rams. Magen David takes the game with a final score of 76-54. The leading scorers for the Warriors and Rams are Nsiri with 33 and Schultz with 17 respectively. MDY will face Rochelle Zell in the Championship on Sunday.
