Berman Cougars Dominate Cooper MACS in 83–58 Victory

In an energetic and fast-paced matchup, the Berman Cougars surged to an impressive 83–58 win over the Cooper MACS, showcasing explosive offense and relentless defensive pressure from start to finish.

The game opened with a flurry of scoring from both sides, as Berman established early momentum with sharp ball movement and strong finishes at the rim. Despite several spirited plays by Cooper, the Cougars closed the first quarter with a 14–9 lead.

By halftime, Berman’s offensive rhythm was in full swing. Guard A. August led the charge with an incredible 34-point performance, while G. Margulies added 15 points and J. Singer contributed 11, helping extend the Cougars’ advantage to 38–26 at the break. Cooper’s J. Siegel tried to keep his team in the game with 20 points, supported by E. Weisfogel’s 15, but Berman’s depth and pace proved too much to handle.

The Cougars erupted in the third quarter, outscoring Cooper 32–15 to take a commanding 70–41 lead. Their defensive intensity forced turnovers that quickly translated into transition baskets, further widening the gap.

In the final period, Berman maintained control and closed out the game with confidence, securing the 83–58 victory.

Alongside August’s dominant performance, key contributions came from R. Antine and Y. Lesnoy, each adding 4 points, while A. SolomonA. Kranzler, and N. Lichtman chipped in with 3 points apiece.
