Alloul Erupts! Montreal HEAT Scorch Cooper MACCABEES 68–47 in Tier III Showdown!
- Updated: October 31, 2025

In front of a lively home crowd, the #6-seeded Cooper Yeshiva High School MACCABEES — the hometown team — gave it everything they had, but it wasn’t enough to stop the red-hot #3-seeded Montreal HEAT, who rolled to a 68–47 victory in a commanding Tier III performance.
Montreal’s Simon Alloul was simply unstoppable, exploding for 32 points in a dominant display of scoring prowess. Whether it was deep threes, strong drives, or quick pull-ups, Alloul couldn’t miss — turning the game into his personal highlight reel. He got plenty of help from B. Laredo (11 points) and D. Levy (9), who provided key buckets and steady defense to keep Cooper on its heels all afternoon.
The hometown MACCABEES, fueled by the energy of their Memphis fans, fought hard to stay in it. Jack Kampf led the way with 19 points, playing with heart and determination in front of the local crowd. E. Weisfogel added 9, and B. Freiden chipped in 7, as Cooper showed flashes of the offensive rhythm that got them this far. But despite their grit, the MACS couldn’t cool down Montreal’s shooting streak.
By halftime, the HEAT had built a cushion behind Alloul’s scoring barrage, and they never let it go. Every time Cooper tried to make a push, Montreal responded with poise — silencing runs with clutch jumpers and fast-break finishes.
When the final buzzer sounded, the HEAT had sealed a 68–47 win, their confidence burning as bright as their play. For the hometown MACCABEES, it was a tough loss in front of their fans — but one played with pride, passion, and fight. For Montreal, it was another statement win in their Tier III campaign — and with Alloul this hot, the HEAT look nearly untouchable.
