National Basketball Phenom Darius Bazley To Attend Invitational Banquet
- Updated: October 31, 2018
Darius Bazley attended Princeton High School in Sharonville, Ohio and was a consensus five-star recruit from Scout, Rivals, 247Sports, and ESPN, and the top prospect in his state, earning McDonald’s All-American honors in 2018.
Bazley initially committed to and signed with the Syracuse Orange but later chose to bypass college with intentions of joining the NBA G League, a decision that drew national attention. However, he then decided to forgo the one year stint in the NBA G League and instead chose to train on his own for the entire season in preparation for the 2019 NBA draft. An article from Bleacher Report speculated that Bazley could be “the face of the end of one-and-done” for NBA draft eligibility because of his decision.
Standing 6 feet 9 inches, Bazley plays the small forward and power forward positions and is currently considered a lottery pick in the 2019 NBA draft.
Over 275 Brackets have already been entered.
