Yeshiva Rambam got off to an early lead with 5 quick points in the first half of the Tier II opener, answered in quick succession with 4 points by Yeshiva Atlanta. Atlanta Loins tied the game at 13 all in the second quarter with a three pointer from #20, Ethan Solomon. Rambam’s Ben Teles, #14 and #21 Noam Sconnenchein answered with 4 threes in quick succession bringing the score to 25-13. With seven collective three pointers in the second quarter, Rambam leads at the half 25 to 15.

Third quarter action was with a sensational behind the back layup and a three pointer at the buzzer from Rambam’s Oran Hariiri, plus a three pointer from Sconnenchein brought Rambam’s lead to 19 at the end of the third quarter. The lead was hard fought, costing Rambam 3 quick fouls. But there was no stopping the Red Storm. Rebounds, fast break layups, and tough defense held the Loins scoreless in the 4th quarter for the first 4 minutes when #33 Weissmann stuck in a lay up and hit three free throws. Too little too late; Rambam wins 48 to 25.
